Renewals
Items may be renewed once if they have not been requested by another patron, but see the note below for exceptions.
Renew in one of these ways:
- Bring items to the Circulation Desk
- Log into your account on CountyCat, to view your checked-out items and renew those that can be renewed.
- Call the automated telephone renewal number (414-277-0183).
Please Note: DVDs, videocassettes, and new adult fiction books may not be renewed.
Returning Items
During open hours, most items should be returned through the return slots at the end of the Circulation Desk. Be sure to place only one item at a time in these slots, as Wauwatosa items (and those of a few other libraries) are checked in automatically while passing through them. Placing more than one item at a time in the slots can interfere with check-in.
There are also return slots on the outside of the building east of the library entrance. These may be used for all materials except art reproductions and sculpture and are available 24 hours.
