Hoopla at Wauwatosa Public Library
From Hollywood blockbusters to best-selling artists and authors, Hoopla is a unique, user-friendly digital media service that allows patrons to download movies, music, e-books and audiobooks to a computer or mobile device.
The service is offered at no cost to Wauwatosa residents via Web browser, Android/OS app, and requires only a Wauwatosa Public Library card to gain access. Wauwatosa residents can check out up to 6 items a month.
Hoopla audiobooks have chapter screens to guide you in not losing your place.
JUNE 2019: The company has confirmed that there is a known issue with Hoopla for Apple devices (and some Android devices) where the app does not work in LANDSCAPE mode. There is no time frame yet on when a fix will be available.
ONGOING: If you receive an error message saying they are unable to borrow items and/or a message about a conflict with your email address, please call the library at 414-471-8484, #3 on the menu. We will be able to verify your residency.
